AzerEnergy building 110 kV substations in Khankendi and Aghdere
AzerEnergy is building two 110 kV substations in Khankendi and Aghdere using modern digital technologies.
The 110/35/10 kV “Khankendi-2” substation will provide more reliable and high-quality electricity supply to Khankendi, nearby settlements and key infrastructure facilities.
The 110/35/10 kV “Hasanriz” substation in Aghdere district will increase the reliability of power supply for consumers, including industrial enterprises.
It will also ensure the safe and uninterrupted transmission to the national grid of electricity generated by the Sarsang and other hydropower plants operating in the region.
Both substations will be equipped with a local micro-SCADA dispatch control system for remote management of switching equipment and real-time transmission of technological indicators.
Once the projects are completed, the number of substations built by AzerEnergy in the liberated territories will reach 16. A total of 38 hydropower plants have already been built and commissioned in the region, while eight more are under construction.
