Azerbaijan prepares new rules for sale of fish products

Azerbaijan is preparing new rules governing the sale of fishery products under proposed amendments to the Law on Fisheries. 

The draft amendments envisage that the procedures for selling fish and other aquatic bioresources will be determined by the relevant executive authority. 

The changes are intended to regulate the circulation of fishery products, improve traceability and establish unified rules for their sale. 

The draft law is under consideration in parliament.
