SOCAR to expand use of artificial intelligence in production

Azerbaijan’s state energy company SOCAR plans to expand the use of artificial intelligence technologies across its production operations, Farid Muradov, director of the company’s Innovation Center, said.

Muradov said SOCAR was already using AI-based solutions in several areas and planned to scale up their application to improve production efficiency, automate processes and support decision-making.

The company is continuing its digital transformation strategy, with artificial intelligence identified as one of its key development priorities.
