Karabakh University to launch dual-degree programme with ITU
Karabakh University and Istanbul Technical University (ITU) will launch a dual-degree programme in engineering from the 2026/2027 academic year.
The programme will cover civil engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering and chemical engineering, with all courses taught in English.
Students will spend their first three years at Karabakh University and their final year at ITU. Those who successfully complete the programme will receive degrees from both universities.
ITU faculty members will participate in teaching, while modern laboratories are expected to be established in Khankendi. Students will also be able to undertake industrial placements and attend summer schools in Türkiye.
The programme will be financed from Azerbaijan’s state budget.
