Azerbaijan produced 13.3 mln tonnes of oil in H1

Azerbaijan produced 13.3 million tonnes of oil and condensate in the first half of 2026, the Energy Ministry said.

The Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) fields accounted for 7.9 million tonnes of output, Shah Deniz produced 1.7 million tonnes, Absheron 0.3 million tonnes, while SOCAR produced 3.4 million tonnes.

Oil and condensate exports totalled 10.5 million tonnes in January-June, including 9.5 million tonnes shipped by the ACG consortium, 0.7 million tonnes by SOCAR and 0.3 million tonnes by JOCAP.

Natural gas production reached 25.4 billion cubic metres in the first six months of the year. Shah Deniz accounted for 13.7 bcm, ACG for 7.3 bcm, Absheron for 0.8 bcm and SOCAR for 3.6 bcm.

Gas exports totalled 12.7 bcm, including 5.9 bcm to Europe, 4.9 bcm to Turkey, 1.2 bcm to Georgia and 0.7 bcm to Syria.
