ADY food product shipments rise 35% in H1

Azerbaijan Railways, or ADY, transported 905,992 tonnes of food industry products in the first half of 2026, up 35%, or 236,396 tonnes, from a year earlier, the company said.

Transit shipments of food products rose 56% to 388,764 tonnes from 249,810 tonnes in the same period of 2025.

In June, food product shipments totalled 198,000 tonnes, up 38% year on year.

Transit shipments doubled in June to 87,261 tonnes from 43,733 tonnes a year earlier.
