Magnitude 3.1 earthquake strikes Azerbaijan’s Shamakhi district
A magnitude 3.1 earthquake struck Azerbaijan’s Shamakhi district early on Friday, the Republican Seismological Service Center said.
The tremor was recorded at 3:07 a.m. local time, 15 kilometres north of the Pirgulu seismic station. Its epicentre was at a depth of 3 kilometres.
The earthquake was not felt by residents, the centre said.
