Azerbaijan’s banking sector assets approach 61 bln manats

The total assets of Azerbaijan’s banks reached 60.94 billion manats as of July 1, 2026, up 7.41% from a year earlier, the Central Bank said.

Banks’ total liabilities stood at 53.29 billion manats, while their aggregate capital amounted to 7.65 billion manats.

In June alone, banking sector assets rose by 3%, liabilities by 3.3% and capital by 1%.
