Number of payment cards in Azerbaijan approaches 22.8 million

The number of payment cards in circulation through banks and Azerpost LLC reached 22.798 million as of July 1, 2026.

The figure increased by 10.4% compared with the same period last year.

The number of debit cards rose by 12%, while the number of credit cards declined by 3.5%.
