Karabakh University sets minimum admission scores

Karabakh University has set minimum scores for admission to its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Science and Education said.

The lowest threshold, 250 points, was set for Tourism Management, while applicants to the Medicine programme will need at least 600 points, the highest requirement among the offered courses.

Around 2,500 students currently study in 27 programmes at the university in Khankendi. Its development plan envisages increasing enrolment to about 4,000 students, expanding the number of programmes to 34 across six fields and admitting 100 medical students.

Azerbaijan plans to allocate 39 million manats from the 2026 state budget to finance the university.
