Temperatures in Baku to reach 36°C on August 1

Baku and the Absheron Peninsula are expected to have dry weather on August 1, Azerbaijan’s National Hydrometeorological Service said. Northwesterly winds will shift to northeasterly during the day.

Temperatures will range from 22–25°C at night to 31–36°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is forecast at 769 mmHg, with relative humidity at 70–75% overnight and 50–55% during the day.

Most regions of Azerbaijan will also remain largely dry, although brief rain and thunderstorms are possible in some mountainous areas. Fog is expected in places overnight and in the morning.

Temperatures in the regions will reach 34–39°C during the day, while mountainous areas will see daytime temperatures of 23–28°C.
