Azerbaijan central bank forecasts 0.5% GDP growth in 2026

Azerbaijan’s economy grew by 0.8% in the first half of 2026, central bank Governor Taleh Kazimov said.

The central bank expects gross domestic product to expand by 0.5% in 2026, with growth accelerating to 2.6% in 2027.

The non-oil and gas economy is forecast to grow by 2.4% this year and 3.9% in 2027.
