World Bank reports Brent crude oil averaged $83.4 per barrel in July
The average price of benchmark Brent crude oil on global markets stood at $83.4 per barrel in July, marking a 2.34% decrease compared to the previous month's average of $85.4, according to the World Bank's monthly Commodity Markets Outlook.
In the second quarter of 2026, Brent averaged $104.4 per barrel, reflecting a 54% increase compared to the same period last year ($67.8). The World Bank also recalled that for the full year 2025, Brent crude averaged $69 per barrel.
Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude averaged $79.4 per barrel in July, down 3.1% from June ($81.9). In the second quarter, WTI averaged $93.2 per barrel, up 46% year-on-year, while its full-year average for 2025 was recorded at $64.9 per barrel.
