Kapital Bank, the country's first bank, has successfully completed the placement of its AZN 50 million bond issue on the Baku Stock Exchange on 5 August 2026.

The bond issue attracted strong interest from both individual and corporate investors. Total demand during the subscription period was nearly three times the size of the offering.

In total, more than 330 investors submitted subscription orders exceeding AZN 146 million. Individual investors accounted for subscription orders totaling more than AZN 57 million, with 314 retail investors participating in the offering. Of these, 246 investors completed the subscription process entirely digitally through the Birbank Invest application.

Investors were able to subscribe to the bonds either through the Birbank Invest application or at Kapital Bank/Birbank branches. The Birbank Invest platform enables users to carry out investment transactions in both local and international financial markets entirely through digital channels.

The Kapital Bank bonds have a one-year maturity and offer an annual yield of 10%, with interest payments made on a monthly basis. PASHA Capital Investment Company OJSC acted as the underwriter for the issue.

Kapital Bank's bonds represent not only a reliable and attractive investment opportunity for investors, but also make a meaningful contribution to the development of Azerbaijan's domestic capital market. Following the successful placement, Kapital Bank intends to continue playing an active role in the country's capital market by offering investors new investment products.
