Pashinyan highlights building alternatives for Armenia's trade

The European Union is a significant trade and economic partner for Armenia, but the current focus is on creating alternatives for the country, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told Russian journalists on August 7.

Pashinyan noted that the process was triggered by statements from some EAEU partners claiming that "Armenia is not needed by anyone and is not expected anywhere."

The Armenian leader added that Yerevan viewed this signal positively as an incentive to work, as the actual situation is quite different.
