ANAMA discovers 107 more mines, 784 UXO in liberated territories

Weekly data (03.08.2026-09.08.2026) on operations carried out by entities involved in demining activities in the liberated territories has been released, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) told.

87 anti-personnel mines, 20 anti-tank mines and 784 unexploded ordnance (UXO) were discovered in the liberated territories last week.

It was noted that 1,581 hectares of land were cleared of mines and UXO.
