Birbank Star Offers 5 Free Public Transport Trips Every Month

Birbank is launching a new campaign to make public transport more affordable for its customers. Running from August 11 to November 30, 2026, the campaign gives customers who use their Birbank Star card to pay for BakıKart fares on buses and the metro the opportunity to enjoy their first five trips free of charge each month.

To take part in the campaign, customers simply need to use their Birbank Star card to pay for BakıKart fares on buses or the metro. No funds will be deducted from the card for eligible free trips, while customers can conveniently track their usage through the mobile app. The campaign applies to BakıKart payments made directly with a Birbank Star card or via QR code.

The campaign is open to all customers who either already have an active Birbank Star card or obtain a new one during the campaign period. Each Birbank Star card can be used for up to 20 free public transport trips over the course of the campaign.

In addition to public transport benefits, the Birbank Star card offers a range of features designed to help customers manage their everyday financial needs. Cardholders can access a credit line of up to AZN 30,000, make purchases with no commission, and earn unlimited bonuses on payments made with Bir ecosystem partners. Customers can also benefit from double VAT cashback when making QR payments.

The Birbank Star credit card can be ordered through the Birbank mobile app, Birbank.az, or at Kapital Bank/Birbank branches.
