Azerbaijani police seize 39 kg of illicit narcotics in nationwide operations

Targeted anti-narcotics operations carried out by Azerbaijani law enforcement officers have led to the interception and seizure of a substantial consignment of illicit drugs.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police units discovered and confiscated a total of 39 kilograms of narcotics during specialized enforcement measures conducted across the country on August 15 and 16.

The ministry affirmed that rigorous operational efforts to disrupt drug trafficking networks and curb illicit distribution remain ongoing.
