Azerbaijan's population reaches 10.27 million as of July 1, 2026 — State Statistical Committee

The population of Azerbaijan expanded by 11,099 people, or 0.1%, from the beginning of the year to reach 10,273,450 people as of July 1, 2026, according to the State Statistical Committee.

Official demographic figures indicate that 54.3% of the total population reside in urban centers, while 45.7% live in rural areas. By gender breakdown, males account for 49.8% of the population, with females representing 50.2%.
