Azerbaijan forecasts dry weather, regional temperatures up to 37°C on August 19

Mainly rainless weather conditions are expected across Azerbaijan on Wednesday, August 19, with regional daytime temperatures climbing up to 37°C, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather will remain mostly dry with a moderate northwesterly wind. Overnight temperatures will range between 22°C and 25°C, while daytime highs will reach 29°C to 33°C. Atmospheric pressure will measure 756 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels at 70–75% at night and 50–55% during the day. 

The country's regions will also see predominantly dry conditions, though localized brief downpours and thunderstorms are expected in some highland areas during the afternoon. Intermittent fog is forecast in certain mountainous zones during nighttime and morning hours, accompanied by an easterly wind. Temperatures in the lowlands will be 19–24°C at night and 32–37°C during the day; mountainous areas will register 12–17°C overnight and 20–25°C in the afternoon.
