Azerbaijan police solve 52 crimes

Azerbaijani internal affairs agencies resolved 46 newly recorded crimes and solved 6 cold cases on August 18, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) said in a daily operational bulletin.

According to the ministry, law enforcement detained 128 individuals on official wanted lists, including 109 persons sought as debt defaulters. Targeted operations uncovered 23 illicit drug-related cases and 9 incidents involving the seizure of unregistered firearms and ammunition. Fifty individuals suspected of criminal offenses were taken into custody during the reporting period.
