Azerbaijan forecasts temperatures up to 36°C on August 21

Temperatures across Azerbaijan are forecast to reach up to 36°C on Friday, August 21, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will see partly cloudy and predominantly dry weather, accompanied by occasionally gusty northwesterly winds. Temperatures in the capital area will range between 22–25°C at night and 28–32°C during the day, with atmospheric pressure at 762 mm Hg and relative humidity between 45–65%.

Intermittent showers and localized thunderstorms are expected across some regional districts before tapering off in the afternoon. Westerly winds will occasionally strengthen in select areas. Regional temperatures will reach 20–25°C at night and 31–36°C during the day, while mountainous zones will see nighttime lows of 13–18°C and daytime highs of 20–25°C.
