Azerbaijan emergency services respond to 714 incidents in one week

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations carried out emergency and rescue operations in response to 714 incidents over the past week, the ministry said.

Of the total, 682 operations were related to fires, 28 to people found in distress, three to road traffic accidents and one to an explosion.

Emergency personnel rescued 36 people during the incidents, including three minors.

A total of 12 people were evacuated during fires, including three minors.

Three people were injured in the incidents, while the bodies of six people who died were handed over to the relevant authorities.
