AzerGold H1 net profit surges 71% to $56.7M
Azerbaijani state-owned mining company CJSC AzerGold closed the first half of 2026 with a net profit of $56.673 million, marking a 70.8% increase year-on-year, Anews.az reported, citing the company's financial disclosure.
Revenue from product sales reached $145.616 million (+24.8% YoY), while the cost of sales saw a marginal 1.62% uptick to $63.69 million. Rental revenue stood at $7.5 million, other operating income expanded 2.6-fold to $1.784 million, and financial earnings climbed 2.3-fold to $1.807 million. General and administrative expenses reached $22.246 million (+59.4%), with corporate income tax payments to the state budget rising 68.6% to $14.098 million.
As of July 1, 2026, AzerGold's total assets climbed 20.2% year-on-year to $645.731 million, total equity rose 25.9% to $545.717 million, and charter capital expanded 4.5-fold to $163.706 million. Total liabilities declined by 3.6% to $100.014 million.
