Baku to See 29°C on August 28, Hail and Thunderstorms Expected in Mountainous Regions

On August 28, weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to be partly cloudy and predominantly rainless, with occasionally intensifying northwesterly winds. 

According to the National Hydrometeorology Service, overnight temperatures will be 21–24°C, while daytime temperatures will reach 27–29°C. Atmospheric pressure will stand at 757 mm Hg, with relative humidity ranging from 70–75% at night to 50–55% during the day. 

Mostly dry weather is forecast across Azerbaijan's regions; however, intermittent rain, intense showers, thunderstorms, and hail are expected in some mountainous and foothill areas. Fog may form in certain mountainous locations during nighttime and morning hours. Gusty westerly winds will prevail. 

Regional temperatures will range from 20–25°C at night to 30–35°C during the day, while mountainous areas will see lows of 12–17°C and highs of 20–25°C.
