Central Bank Imposes Administrative Measures on Two Non-Bank Credit Institutions

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has enacted administrative sanctions against two non-bank credit institutions (NBCOs) as part of ongoing regulatory oversight,  said central bank.

The enforcement actions follow identified compliance violations concerning national legislation on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT).

The regulator emphasized that supervisory measures across non-bank lending entities remain active to enforce regulatory compliance and uphold financial sector integrity.
