Brent crude consolidates near $102 per barrel
Brent crude futures hovered near $102.28 per barrel as of 07:50 Baku time on Friday, easing by 3 cents, or 0.03%, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) fell 19 cents to $92.68 per barrel. Despite gaining over $4 in the previous session, Brent remains on track to conclude the week down roughly 2%.
Traders are closely monitoring the expanding US military footprint across the Middle East, Chinese curbs on refined product exports, and initial signs pointing to a gradual stabilization of regional crude flows.
