The Main State Traffic Police Department of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Internal Affairs has released a public appeal urging electric scooter users to strictly comply with road safety regulations following a rise in reported violations.

The department highlighted key concerns, including tandem riding on a single scooter, ignoring red traffic lights, performing abrupt or hazardous maneuvers in traffic, and obstructing pedestrian walkways.

Authorities urged riders to observe all road signs and signal controls, adhere to speed limits, and prioritize pedestrian safety, underscoring that road culture depends fundamentally on respecting the rights and safety of fellow commuters.
