72-year-old Azeri woman kills husband, 76

Nanaxanim Qasimova, a 72-year-old resident of Azerbaijan’s southern district of Astara, has killed her husband, Nariman Qasimov, 76.

The woman has been arrested, according to the district police.

The motive of the killing is not yet clear. 

Police initiated criminal proceedings. The woman can face up to 15 years in prison of found guilty.
