Azerbaijan’s parliament to hold public hearing on waste management

A public hearing dedicated to waste management is planned to be held in the Azerbaijani parliament, said Sadig Gurbanov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Natural Resources, Energy, and Ecology.

According to Gurbanov, the need for the hearing stems from both public complaints regarding waste disposal issues and operations of large industrial enterprises.

He emphasized that the topic remains an urgent focus for lawmakers, prompting the relevant committee to bring the matter up for broader parliamentary discussion.
