27.01.2015 19:00
Baku’s Sabail district court on Jan. 27 decided to extend journalist Xadica Ismayilova’s (aka Khadija Ismayil) pre-trial detention for two more months.

Ismayilova, who anchored a current affairs program on Radio Azadliq, the Azerbaijani service of US-funded Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, was arrested on Dec. 5 for inciting a former colleague to suicide.

She rejects the charge as politically motivated.
