Aliyev congratulates Meloni

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was congratulated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on becoming the longest-serving head of government in the history of the Italian Republic. 

President Aliyev underscored that this historic milestone reflects Meloni’s strong leadership, political determination, and the enduring confidence of the Italian people. The Azerbaijani leader commended Meloni’s personal role and active contribution to cementing the strategic partnership between Baku and Rome.

Aliyev expressed confidence that bilateral friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation will continue to broaden and deepen for the benefit of both nations.
