Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown dies at age 22

"She is finally at peace in the arms of God," the Houston family said in statement. "We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."

Brown had been hospitalized since January 31, when she was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in a suburban Atlanta townhome. According to family members who spoke to NBC News and TMZ, she was placed in a medically induced coma in the hospital.

Nearly two months later, Brown was moved to a rehabilitation center, where she remained until June 24, when she was moved to Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia.

"Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate," Pat Houston told Entertainment Tonight in June. "We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."

The 22-year-old was reportedly found by Brown’s believed husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend, who are said to have called 911 and performed C.P.R.

Attorneys representing Bobby Brown released a statement in February revealing that they are "investigating the events that led to the hospitalization.”

On February 11, 2012, Whitney Houston was similarly found facedown in the bathtub of her Beverly Hilton hotel room. She was in Los Angeles to attend a pre–Grammy Awards party hosted by her mentor, Clive Davis. Brown appeared on several short-lived reality shows about her family, including Being Bobby Brown on Bravo and The Houstons: On Our Own on Lifetime. After her mother brought her onstage at the 1994 American Music Awards to help her accept a trophy, Bobbi Kristina would occasionally join Whitney onstage to accompany her on certain songs, the favorite mother-daughter duet of which seemed to be her 1998 single "My Love Is Your Love.”
