Specialist who first detected omicron warns of its danger

Those, who have not yet been vaccinated, have the 100-percent possibility of spreading the virus, said Angelique Coetzee, the first specialist to reveal the omicron strain.

Reported from Haber Global, that the strain known to the science as B.1.1.529 might be widely spread in India.

All the vaccines used nowadays are effective against many mutated variants, she added.

She said those vaccinated or who were ill earlier could spread a third part of the virus.
