"We made a 180-degree turn in Hamas plans,” Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant wrote on X. 

According to him, the enemy planned to destroy entire settlements: "We destroyed hundreds of terrorist bases in the Gaza Strip. We are determined to destroy the enemy and capture many weapons brought in by Hamas terrorists in Gaza.”
