Trump orders U.S. withdrawal from 66 international organisations

 U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered the United States to withdraw from 66 international organisations, saying they no longer serve U.S. interests, the White House said.

According to documents released by the White House, all U.S. federal agencies have been instructed to end participation in and funding for 31 bodies of the United Nations and 35 non-UN international organisations.

The move is part of a broader review of U.S. international commitments and their alignment with national priorities, the White House said.
