Trump to address nation on Iran military operation on April 1, White House says

U.S. President Donald Trump will address the nation on April 1 regarding military operations against Iran, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said.

The address is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. Washington time and will include “important updates” on Iran, according to the statement.

Earlier, Trump said the U.S. operation against Iran could be completed within two to three weeks. A White House official also noted that Washington is seeking to reach an agreement with Tehran by April 6.

On February 28, the United States, together with Israel, launched a military operation against Iran, according to official statements.
