U.S. President Donald Trump is seeking a broad agreement with Iran that would normalise economic relations, Vice President JD Vance said.

Speaking at a forum at Georgia State University, Vance said Washington was prepared to treat Iran “like a normal country economically” if Tehran acted accordingly.

He said the proposed deal aimed to integrate Iran into the global economy and support its economic development.

Vance added that negotiations would continue in good faith, acknowledging that longstanding differences between Washington and Tehran could not be resolved quickly.
