Pakistan prepares to host new round of Iran-U.S. talks, media report
Pakistan has begun preparations to host a second round of talks between Iran and the United States, the Express Tribune reported, citing sources.
Security arrangements are already underway, with Islamabad’s Serena hotel expected to host foreign delegations again, the sources said.
The meeting is expected to take place later this week or early next week, with preliminary consultations also possible.
Pakistan’s army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi are currently in Iran as part of mediation efforts between Washington and Tehran.
