Turkey bars Israeli president’s plane from airspace en route to Astana
Turkey denied Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s plane permission to fly through its airspace on its way to Astana, forcing the aircraft to reroute via Europe and Russia, media reports said.
Ankara confirmed that its airspace remains closed to official Israeli delegations, while Israeli airlines are allowed to use it only for transit civilian flights.
There was no immediate official comment from the Israeli president’s office.
