Serbia’s Vucic Says He Could Resign Before End of Presidential Term

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he could step down before the end of his presidential term.

The Serbian leader made the statement during a visit to China.

According to N1 television, Vucic said that “it is possible” he could resign soon.

Aleksandar Vucic was first elected president of Serbia in 2017 and was re-elected for a second term in 2022. His current presidential mandate expires in 2027.
