Ornella Muti’s daughter begins process of seeking Russian citizenship

Naike Rivelli, the daughter of Italian actress Ornella Muti, said she had begun the process of applying for Russian citizenship and was considering buying a home in Moscow or St Petersburg.

Rivelli, an actress and singer, told Russian media that she regularly travelled to Russia with her mother and would like to spend more time in the country. 

Muti has also said on several previous occasions that she would like to obtain Russian citizenship, although there was no indication that she had filed a new application. 

Muti has Russian ancestry on her mother’s side and has regularly visited Russia in recent years.
