73.3% of Russians express trust in President Vladimir Putin

Public trust in Russian President Vladimir Putin stands at 73.3%, according to a survey conducted by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) between August 3 and August 8.

The poll surveyed 1,600 adult Russian citizens across the country. According to the research center, 67% of respondents stated that they approve of the president’s performance in office.

The survey also measured public sentiment regarding the executive branch: 44.5% of respondents approved of the Russian government's overall work, while Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin's performance received a 44.8% approval rating. In terms of personal trust, 55.7% of surveyed individuals voiced confidence in Mishustin.
