Pentagon orders 30 US academic institutions to audit ties with Russian, Chinese, and Iranian entities

The US Department of Defense has instructed 30 American higher education and research institutions to immediately review their connections with Russian, Chinese, and Iranian organizations on the Pentagon's blacklist, Vesti.az reported, citing an official statement from the defense agency.

Under the directive, the designated academic institutions must conduct a comprehensive audit of all academic, financial, and scientific partnerships with foreign entities of concern to the Pentagon. 

The mandated review is aimed at safeguarding sensitive research and preventing unauthorized technology transfers to strategic competitors.
