Former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan Rehospitalized During Court Hearing
Former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan was rehospitalized approximately seven hours after the start of his court session, Yerevan Today reported.
Speaking to journalists outside the courthouse, his son, Levon Kocharyan, stated that physicians deemed it necessary for his father to remain in the hospital rather than the courtroom.
"The court hearing continues. Doctors determined that he should stay in the hospital rather than attend the session. His attorneys will continue participating in the proceedings. I expect the court will reach a decision by morning," Levon Kocharyan said.
On August 25, Kocharyan's office director confirmed that the former president had been hospitalized directly from the Corruption Crimes Investigation Committee building.
