AP: U.S. military death toll in Iran conflict rises to 18

əThe number of U.S. service members killed since the start of the conflict with Iran has risen to 18 after the U.S. military confirmed the death of another soldier who had previously been listed as missing, the Associated Press reported. 

According to AP, Sgt. Angel S. Rampersad went missing following an Iranian missile and drone attack on an air base in Jordan. After completing a search and recovery operation, the military concluded that she had been killed. 

She is the third service member confirmed killed in that attack and the 18th U.S. military fatality since the conflict with Iran began.
