As Azerbaijan gears up to host COP29, preparations have begun to ensure top-notch medical services during the event, reported from the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB).

The Yeni Klinika, operating under the TABIB, has been designated as one of the medical institutions to provide specialized healthcare services during COP29.

Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev and TABIB Executive Director Vugar Gurbanov visited Yeni Klinika to oversee the ongoing preparations.

Vugar Gurbanov revealed that in anticipation of potential medical needs, the Emergency and Urgent Care Department at Yeni Klinika has allocated ten beds equipped with special monitors and oxygen panels. Additionally, three beds in the Pediatric Emergency Care Department, ten in the Inpatient Department, four in the Intensive Care Unit, three in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and one operating room have been reserved for the event.
