Visitors from the Americas to Azerbaijan rise, led by U.S. tourists

Tourist arrivals to Azerbaijan from the Americas rose 20% year-on-year to 3,961 in January–February, official data showed.

Visitors from the United States totalled 2,700, up 28.6% from a year earlier, making it the largest source market in the region.

Arrivals from Brazil increased 12.1% to 344 and from Mexico rose 20.7% to 111, while Canada saw a 6.6% decline to 464.

Overall, Azerbaijan received 337,300 foreign visitors from 163 countries during the period, down 0.4% year-on-year.
