A group of Ukrainian children arrives in Azerbaijan for rehabilitation

A group of 29 Ukrainian children and three accompanying adults has arrived in Azerbaijan for psychological and wellness rehabilitation, Ukraine’s ambassador to Baku, Yuriy Husyev, said. He described it as the third such group to visit Azerbaijan in 2026.

Husyev said the children were from a lyceum in Ukraine’s Chernihiv region and that 545 Ukrainian children had undergone rehabilitation in Azerbaijan since the start of the war.

Earlier this year, another group of 26 Ukrainian children arrived in Baku for a rehabilitation programme, according to local media citing Husyev.
