U.N. deputy secretary-general Amina Mohammed to visit Azerbaijan

U.N. Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed will visit Azerbaijan next week as part of events related to the World Urban Forum.

Igor Garafulic, acting U.N. resident coordinator in Azerbaijan, announced the visit.

“We are already ready to receive all guests. Next week, as part of WUF, we will host our authorised representatives, the U.N. deputy secretary-general and the executive director of UN-Habitat,” Garafulic said.

He said the visit would take place in the context of preparations and events linked to the World Urban Forum.
